Senegal

Not only is this the driving experience of a lifetime, it is also a chance to meet the people of Senegal and to enjoy the hospitality, or “teranga“, for which they are famous.

Although in its history Senegal suffered at the hands of slave traders, and still has a level of poverty most westerners thankfully have little to no experience of, today the country is making strides towards greater prosperity and, in spite of the difficulties, there is a great emphasis placed on the value of peace. Peace and hospitality are the mantras of Senegalese society regardless of personal circumstance.
